Rest of World Region’s Annual Revenues at US$ 600 mn, up 69% YoY
Dubai, UAE,July 28th, 2011 – HCL Technologies Ltd. (HCL), a leading global IT services provider, today announced results for the year and quarter ended June 30 2011. For the full year, HCL’s global revenues increased by 31.1% to US$ 3,545 mn. During the quarter, HCL posted strong growth with global revenues increasing by 30.5% YoY to US$ 963 mn.
Rest of the world (RoW) region, which comprises of APAC, Middle East, ASEAN, ANZ and Africa, posted a revenue increase of 69% YoY in FY 2010-11 and 3.8% QoQ in the fourth quarter of FY 2011.

Dubai, UAE; July 26, 2011: Emaar Properties PJSC, the global developer of iconic projects, recorded a net operating profit of AED 843 million (US$ 230 million) in the first six months of 2011.
The net operating profit for the second quarter (April to June) 2011 was AED 422 million (US$ 115 million), similar to the net operating profit for first quarter (January to March) 2011 of AED 421 million (US$ 115 million). Revenue for the second quarter of 2011 was AED 2.032 billion (US$ 553 million), marginally higher than first quarter 2011 revenue of AED 1.983 billion (US$ 540 million).
Epson Stylus Photo R2000 answers Middle East customer demand for improved user convenience

Responding to customer demand for higher-capacity ink cartridges to improve user convenience, Epson has developed the Stylus Photo R2000 with 17ml ink cartridges. The new A3+, 8-colour photo printer, which has been launched in the Middle East, delivers high-quality photographic prints using Epson UltraChrome Hi-Gloss2 pigment ink, with the advantage of 50 percent higher capacity cartridges compared to previous models in its class. This allows larger print jobs to be completed with fewer ink changes.
Epson has also answered customer calls for wireless connectivity, making the R2000 one of the only printers in its category to feature Wi-Fi. Combined with USB and Ethernet connectivity, Wi-Fi enables the R2000 to fit easily into any studio or home environment. Users can print remotely from iPhones® or iPads® using the Epson iPrint app.

This performance was driven by strong growth in the Asia Pacific, UAE, Africa and Americas regions, as well as new volumes from recently opened capacity in Callao, Peru and Qingdao, China. Like for like gross volume growth was 10% .
Our portfolio of consolidated terminals handled 13.5 million TEU in the first six months of the year. Had our five terminals in Australia not been deconsolidated from 12 March 2011, the consolidated terminals would have delivered 10% growth ahead of the same six month period in 2010. Like for like consolidated volume growth in the first half was 8% .

LG has joined the Basel Action Network (BAN), a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Seattle, Wash. that monitors the trade of toxic products and fights environmental degradation. LG and BAN plan to work together to expand the scope of “e-Steward Enterprise,” a program designed to encourage the responsible disposal of electronic goods, which has previously been limited to North America and the UK. As part of the agreement, LG and BAN hope to jointly develop and participate in the “Global e-Stewards Enterprise” program, enabling companies to responsibly recycle electronic e-waste worldwide.
A new Nawras Store opens in Lulu Hypermarket in Salalah
